I'm suggesting we do one of our Santee rides this Thursday, either Oak/Spring Canyon or Sycamore Canyon. Anyone who has a preference can suggest the one they prefer. In the event of a tie, or worse yet no suggestions, I'll post a final ride plan Thursday morning.
Start will be at 4:30pm.

This location will allow us to attend a short sports nutrition session presented Jerry Marino at Filippi's afterward. His talk will be titled, "Why light cheese pizza results in better power to the pedals."

We'll ride at Del Mar Mesa this Thursday, which will include all the usual parts, like Side Hill, the northside trails, Tunnels, the Shits, duck pond/tabletop, and the waterfall. Richard's son William (little Richard?)is here on a visit from Australia and will be joining us.

We'll probably go have a pizza and beer afterward too.

If you can join us, let's meet at the Post Office parking lot off Vista Sorrento Parkway in Sorrento Valley at 4:30.

And let us know if we should expect you.

Any ideas for this Thursday? Oak Canyon/Spring Canyon always works for me, but I'll do something else if there's a suggestion that attracts a following.

Jerry (aka broken hand) Marino has offerred to do a shuttle service for us on Sunday. So do we take advantage of his offer and do the PCT at Penny Pines or Kitchen Creek, or Noble Canyon. Let me know if you have any other ideas.

I'd like to get home early since Somer is down celebrating her birthday with us this weekend.
Would the group consider doing the Oak Canyon/Spring Canyon ride tomorrow? Julie, Jeff, and I worked out a little variation which includes 5 canyons and a little different order than usual.

And now for my big favor. Could we start at 7:30? Remember, this is a very short drive. Please!!
