I rode Spring Canyon and Oak Canyon on Thursday, and it was a little muddy where you drop back into Oak Canyon from the top of "Cooper Canyon". But I'd still like to ride it tomorrow, maybe changing up the route a little to avoid that muddy section.

Jerry has proposed a coastal road ride as an alternative.

If you have a preference, let's hear from you. I'd like to have the final ride plan announced by 6:00 or so.

I recommend that we wait till Monday for a Mountain Bike Ride. Even then, Anderson Truck Trail is probably the only reasonable choice. The chances of rain tomorrow taper off toward the end of the day and Monday's forecast has almost no chance of rain. Of course, there will still be lots of mud everywhere, hence the ATT recommedation.

How about we just do the Spring Oak Canyon Ride on Sunday? Pete, Richard, and Jeff are unavailable, and Jerry wants to be somewhere early for the Superbowl. Me, I just need to clean up around the disaster zone one last time.

Since Jerry and Richard rode 81 miles today, and since Pete probably doesn't want to do anything too dangerous on his mountain bike, I'm suggesting we ride Laguna Meadows tomorrow. We can shorten the ride
up in several places along the ride based on how people are feeling at the time.
