If the weather permits, how about a ride at Anderson
Truck Trail on Sunday morning at 8:00am? I've had a little cold and cough, but if you're patient enough to wait for me to catch up I'd still like to give it a try.
Let me know if you are available or have a better idea.
Merry Christmas everyone.
Sorry for the late post.
I think I'll pass for tomorrow:
1. Forecast calls for rain tonight/tomorrow morning.
2. Ground is already wet.
3. Family here and I need to spend time with them.
I know that Richard wants to do Elfin Forest. Anyone who wants to ride should either respond here or contact Richard.
The weather tomorrow should be good anywhere we want to ride, except for Elfin Forest which is under a severe weather watch (hurricanes and possible flooding).
So any proposals on where to take our Sunday ride? I'd like to be home by about 1:00pm, but that still allows for most local or mountain rides.
I guess it's time to officially give up and claim the rain as the winner over our chances of riding tomorrow. Don't see much hope for the weather to change or for the ground to dry out.
Cuyamaca's on Sunday? We can start over to Soapstone and decide if we want to do the La Cima trail and others, or go over to Azalea Springs and back. Kinda play it by ear.
Meet at Tierrasanta at 7:00 or the Sweetwater parking lot off of Hwy 79 at 8:00am.
Let me know if you have a strong desire to do something else.
Assuming the weather forecast doesn't change for the worse, how about doing the Cuyamaca ride tomorrow? We could park at the ususal spot , take the Westside trail over to the La Cima/Lucky 5 Trails, and then figure out how to get back on some un-named trail.
Daylight savings change is tonight, so starting at 8:00am will be easy!
