October is really here. Mornings are going to be a little cooler and afternoons should be pretty pleasant for awhile.

I was thinking that Sycamore West off of Stonebridge Parkway might be a decent local ride. The more daring riders in the group could do Martha's Grove; the others could meet them at the old Goodan ranch house.

How about starting the ride at 8:30? Please respond with your plans to ride, or not.

I've got a couple of Ideas for tomorrow, depending on how many people plan to show up. Weather should be pretty nice everywhere.

Plan A-Laguna Meadows

Teale, Sebastian, and Julian will be joining us, but they can just do the rides that loop around the meadow and lake, which would be OK for newer riders.  The rest of us could do Wooded Hill, Champagne Pass, Noble Canyon, etc.

Plan B-Local Inland Valleys

Sorry for the late post, but I think most of our group already knows we plan to ride in the Cuyamacas tomorrow, starting in the Sweetwater River parking lot off of Hwy 79. We will start at 8:00 am.

Not looking good at all. When the Navy decides to move all their ships and subs to sea, we should probably take this storm seriously. Stand by…..

As you probably know, all of the inland and mountain areas we normally ride are still in the 90s. So I suggest we ride at either Penasquitos or San Clemente/Rose canyons tomorrow. I know the choices are limited, so let's hope things cool down a bit for next weekend.

Please respond about your availability and indicate which ride you would rather do. I'm suggesting we start at 8:00 am to beat the heat.
