I know some of us talked about doing Elfin Forest on Sunday. While that's still a good option, I'd like to propose that we do the Oak/Spring Canyon ride out of Mission Trails park instead.
Richard, Julie, and I found a new switchback trail heading west out of "Cooper's Canyon". Richard did it Thursday night, and I rode it yesterday. I think we could link the usual 2-3 canyons together and add this on at the end and have a good 16 mile ride that's got a combination of uphill, switchbacks, singletrack, etc.
OK to give it a try? We could start at 7:30 or 8:00, whatever works best. Let me know.

SOunds good to me- looks like Jerry closed the debate on what time we start!
Alan, isn't that
Alan, isn't that typical?
Question for the grupo.... Is there a lot of Poison Oak out there on the Oak/Spring ride now?
See you there. Did the Racers
See you there. Did the Racers and Chasers MTB race today in Lusardi/Black Mtn....that is a great course, only about 10 miles around the way we went (but we did 2 laps--elite did 3). Probably could make it longer if you knew all the trails, plus it joins up to PQ canyon/Tunnels. Also, for Pete and Jer, Fred Nicolet (ex SDBC Pres) broke his collarbone at the Thurs night Fiesta ride a week ago.
Most of the poison oak is in
Most of the poison oak is in the very beginning of the singletrack section, just as you head up Oak Canyon.
Hardly any oak Pete,
Hardly any oak Pete, especially for a rider like you who is always on track...
