How about we do the Cuyamaca ride tomorrow, taking the Westside Trail over to the Park Headquarters and Upper Green Valley Fire Road to the base of Soapstone, and on to the La Cima and Lucky 5 trails? From there, we can come back a number of ways, but you'll need a security clearance to talk about it.
Sweetwater River parking lot off Hwy 79 at 8:00am?
I can drive four of us; Pete Kane is out of town. Meet at Tierrsanta at 7:00 or trailhead at 8:00.

How on earth did Alan get his cassette in his road tire. We need an explanation from the Ridemaster.

Alan claims he was hit by a car, which taco'ed his rear wheel. So he needs me to take the cassette off the old wheel and put in on a new rear wheel he purchased. Problem is, it's an odd style cassette lockring and I don't have a tool to remove it!
Anyway, some of us suspect that the wheel damage was actually caused by a pedestrian being run over while Alan was distracted practicing a rousing speech for Toastmasters. I can't confirm this statement, but it's certainly possible.
