The variant was to skip
The variant was to skip Raptor Ridge and take the trail over to Sunset Drive, go under I-15 and take the pedestrian bridge over to the south shore of Lake Hodges and do a loop there, finally crossing back over the 15 to the trailhead/parking lot.
I think it was almost 19 miles. We can discuss in the morning.
