I've heard from everyone but Pete, so it looks like the Santa Margarita River Trail will be our destination for riding tomorrow. Here are Steve's direction to the trailhead:
CORRECTED DIRECTIONS:
From Inland areas of San Diego County: Take I-15 North. A couple of mile after passing HWY 76, take the Mission Road exit. Turn left at the exit towards Fallbrook. Take Mission Road about 5 miles and make a right on Pico. (There is a sign that says "To De Luz Road". Pico turns into De Luz Road. Two miles after you turned on Pico, you will come to a fork in the road. Go right at the fork onto Sandia Creek Rd and travel another two miles to the trailhead parking lot on the right. If you cross a bridge you have gone too far.
For those who want to do a little reading or look at the map:

See you there at 8:00.

I'm a little concerned the RM
I'm a little concerned the RM might get short circuited crossing rivers. This comment on the web page has me worried. "to do some of the bigger and cooler loops you have to be willing to get wet. I'm not talking just your feet, but wading across the river that is usually mid-quad to crotch deep. Okay, even with all of those items this area is worth getting to know. "
Check out some of the photos. RM is going to have to carry that 50 pound beast across some water.

Sorry to be so late in
Sorry to be so late in responded to my "peeps". Maureen had me hanging a new window shade in the LR, patching the upstairs patio deck; rearranging the house the Thanksgiving, etc. I can't swim so I'll pass on tomorrow's exploration. Have fun!
