I can get away this Thursday, but would need until about 4:15 to get to Santee. I could get to Penasquitos Canyon by 4:00, but I'm not sure its open.

I think PQ is still closed. A notice on March 3 said the creek crested at 12 feet during the big storm and caused a huge amount of damage...washed out all the bridges, etc. They have been good about anouncing when trails have reopened...even on a limited basis...and they haven't indicated any yet. Sooooo, Santee ?
