I wish SDMBA hadn't put that declaration out there as the Marines clearly don't own the land with the white cross on it...and Mission Trails Regional Park has overtly allowed riding in that area before you get to the Marine base north of 52. As long as you stay off the outlaw trails created there and stay on the original tracks, I think you are OK. So we can piece together something like up and down Cooper's Canyon, up and down The Beast and Alter Beast canyons, up and down 3 Barrels...turning around when we see signs or get to the signed ridges. Not exciting.....but there are plenty of flowers there now !
