I have convinced myself that the 275 is the way for you to go. Make sure the fork is at least 120 and the rims are as wide as possible (1501 rims have ID of 20, 22.5. 25). Wide is best. Also try a small in the Mach 4 as well as the XS. I would suggest 2X chainrings also instead of 1X.. Have fun ! You will really appreciate the wide rims on the downhills.

Maybe you should just "disappear" with that Mach 6 and take it back after Sunday. You can just say you got lost and rode all night!
