I'd really like to go to the mountains, but the high tomorrow will be in the high 90's, which is too warm. So I'm recommending we do something local, and start no later than 7:30am.
So would you prefer:
1. Syacamore Canyon
2. Oak Canyon+
3. Del Mar Mesa/Tunnels
4. Another suggestion.
Let's get some feedback and a final plan by 5:00pm!
OK, who's in for Thursday? We could try Annie's West Mission Trails ride again. Since the weather has been so cool, this should be no big deal for a group like ours.
It will be warm almost everywhere tomorrow. I would like to ride the mountains, and I've been thinking that we've been letting the weather dictate too much of our riding lately. I think San Juan would be miserable, but I could try Laguana Meadows if anyone wants. Maybe we could start at 7:30?
Alternatively, we could do Del Mar Mesa/Tunnels, starting at 7:30. That's not the best ride around, but it might be one of the coolest and it wouldn't require much driving time, so we could start early.
Your thoughts?

No thoughts required: The RM has revised ride (for those not on email list) to be the local 5 canyons ride (25 miles +) : To quote the RM:
Anyone up for Pensaquitos/Del Mar Mesa this Thursday at 4:30? I have a family obligation at 6:30, but I would still like to get a ride in if posssible. We'd meet near (behind) the Post Office off Vista Sorrento Parkway in Sorrento Valley. Let me know.
Mountains look hot on Sunday (mid-90's), so here are a couple of cooler ideas:
1. Anderson Truck Trail + World Cup
2. Del Mar Mesa/Tunnels
3. West Mission Trails (the ride Annie showed us last night)
4. Something else you'd like to suggest.
I may not be able to ride on Sunday myself because of family stuff and a trip up to the Temecula area, but I would still like to get the ride plan finalized by late afternoon on Saturday. So let's hear from you.
Annie has scoped out a new ride and I'm hoping a few of us can try it out this Thursday. It's in Mission Trails West, and the trail head is in Northeastern Tierrasanta, accessed off of Santo Road.
