It's going to be pretty hot inland and in the mountains tomorrow, so I'm thinking something near the coast is our only option. We could ride Penaquitos Canyon, the La Costa/Carlsbad ride Edwin likes, or the new Rose Canyon ride I've been exploring.

Let me know if you plan to ride and if you have a preference where we do it.

I'm riding tomorrow. I just don't know where and who I'll be riding with. If you're interested, let's hear your suggestions. it looks like the inland rides will be in the mid to high 80's, mountains will be about 80 for the high. Just sayin.

As you well know it will be hot on Sunday. Also, my grandkids are coming down Sunday and I need to be home before noon. I'm thinking that a 7:30 start at Penasquitos solves both of those concerns.

I would really like to go to the Cuyamacas tomorrow, meeting at the Sweetwater River parking lot of Hwy 79 at 8:00. We can talk about it this evening.

We're going to a wedding in North Los Angeles today and I'm not sure when we'll get home. If tonight late, I can still ride tomorrow. If we stay over at Somer and Rewdy's, then I won't make it.

If you guys can plan a ride, then I'll join if I can. Julie and I talked about riding Raptor Ridge and returning on the now-infamous "Pete Kane trail", but perhaps you'll decide on something else. In any case, I hope to join you and if not, I hope you have a great ride!
