I’m thinking we should ride inland, somewhere north of Hwy 52. So my suggestions would be:

1.  Sycamore canyon WEST, off Stonebridge Parkway

2. Raptor Ridge

3.  La Costa Preserve

You might have noticed that I'm a little less democratic than in the past, but the "low voter turnout" has caused me to morph to the more autocratic (but still benevolent) RM that I have become.

So apologies to all, but I think we should ride Sycamore Canyon tomorrow, starting at the usual spot at the end of Fanita Parkway.  And I think we should start at 8:00 so that we can be finished riding before it reaches the predicted 80 degree high temperature.

It looks like the weather will be great for the mountains tomorrow! Want to give it a try? I'm thinking Cuyamacas at 8:30, meeting at the usual parking lot off Hwy 79.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Now that we have that out of the way, let's figure out a ride for tomorrow. It will be warm, so I suggest we start at 8:00 or 8:30. (Did you think you'd ever hear concerns about warm days again?)

 I'd like to ride Sycamore, but it is probably a good idea to let it dry out another week. Penasquitos Canyon is partially open, but there are more areas closed than open.

So, how does Lake Hodges sound? It may be a little crowded, but it should be reasonably warm and dry.
