Richard Grant is in town and wants to join us for a ride on Sunday. Some of the Thursday night riders talked about Lake Morena on Sunday. The weather should be very nice.

After hanging around with Jerry for so long, I'm beginning to have some lame-brain ideas. Here's one:

We start the the lower Noble Canyon trailhead in Pine Valley. We go clockwise around the mountain and possibly ride up Noble as far as the Widowmaker downhill. We then turn around and continue around the mountain and over to behind Pine Valley. After that we take the trail that goes up and around the mountain and drops us back into the trailhead area. I figure 10-12 miles, giving us plenty of time to get back well before the Chargers game at 1:30 or so.

A few of us Thursday riders agreed on Daley Ranch for Sunday. Since we are all in training for San Juan on January 5, the climbing will do us some good. Maybe the parts I walk will even do me some good.

Anyway, 8:00am start at the trailhead? I've got to drive solo since I took my car in for service yesterday only to find out it wouldn't be ready until Monday. Not smart!

i'm not sure how many of us are able to ride tomorrow, but I was thinking maybe we ride in the Cuyamacas? Temp will be in the low 50s, and it will be clear and sunny with light breezes.

Sound OK? Other ideas gladly considered!
