I'm headed up to San Juan Capistrano early Saturday and won't return until Saturday night. Can Jerry or Julie organize Sunday's ride? I'm fine with almost anything you guys decide.If we're going to the mountains, I'm happy to drive myself +3 riders and bikes.

I was hoping we could give the Cuyamacas a try tomorrow. The forecast is for clear and windless conditions, but the high will only be 57 or so. Is that too cold for the group? If so we could try something else, I just need a little help with what that something else is. I guess another option would be to start at Mission Trails West where we went last Sunday and use that as our access to some of the rides in the Sycamore Canyon valley areas.

How about a ride in the mountains tomorrow? I've rented a Specialized Turbo Levo pedal assist bike and I'm anxious to give it a good workout tomorrow. Either the Cuyamacas or the Lagunas would be fine with me.  And I can drive 3 + me.

Jerry and I rode Oak Canyon in Santee on Thursday night and almost every trail in the canyon bottoms was destroyed. The signletrack is now mostly 2 foot deep rocky riverbeds. I'm not sure it will ever be the same, but maybe some good souls will build some new trails that avoid the damaged routes.

So for Sunday, I'm open for ideas. Here are just a few:

Raptor Ridge

La Costa Preserve

Daley Ranch

Julie and Jeff's new trail that leads to Sycamore Canyon.
