I was hoping to recommend a mountain ride tomorrow, but I don't think it's advisable. A little cool, windy, and chance of rain. Besides, it's probably still muddy.

  Probably smarter to stay local.

  Suggestions:

 1. Sycamore, but skip the fire road to Martha's, and take cardiac hill and the ridge line instead.

 2. Anderson Truck Trail--I realize it's short, but it's consistently rideable in wet weather.

 3. Elfin Forest-Not my personal favorite, but I'll do it if the group wants.

 4. Let's do the mountains and a little PCT anyway!

I hoped we could ride in the mountains because of the warm weather this weekend, but it doesn't look like a good idea:

  1. VERY  WINDY conditions in mountains through Monday   2. Chargers fans want to watch the kickoff at 1:00pm.

   So we're talking about Sycamore Canyon instead.  Since it is reasonably warm, I think we should start at 8:00am.

 See you at the traihead off Mast Avenue?

HAPPY NEW YEAR!                                                                                                                                                       Mr. Marino and I have decided to do the Spring Canyon/Oak Canyon/Coopers Canyon ride tomorrow morning at 10:00am.

  RM is not able to ride this Sunday, but my overwhelming sense of duty requires me to arrange a ride for the rest of you loyal followers out there.   So here's the part where the rest of you make suggestions, comments, and finalize a ride plan for tomorrow.  Looks like there's a chance of rain in the mountains tomorrow, but the temperatures look OK.   Good luck and have a great ride.   RM
