HAPPY NEW YEAR  2023!

For those of you who will be up celebrating until the wee hours, good news!  No ride tomorrow!  
it’s not that you deserve to sleep in after all the things you’ll be regretting tomorrow morning, but it’s because  rain is predicted tonight and tomorrow morning.  I don’t see how or where we could get a ride in

For any of the brave souls who want to ride tomorrow before the rain starts, I am suggesting a local ride ending by 11:00, i.e., Santee/Fanita Pkwy. I think we could possibly finish before any rain starts falling if we start at 8:30. Anyway, let me know if you want to give it a try.

I’m hoping we can have a good group ride with most of us in attendance this Sunday for a change. I was thinking we could ride Orosco Ridge or the Cuyamacas. The Lagunas will be a little cool, so I wouldn’t recommend that location. Orosco should be perfect   So please respond with your availability and  preferences.

I am not able to make the ride tomorrow. We agreed to do some grandkid babysitting on Sunday up in OC, and I have some other things to attend to before that, so I just realized a ride won’t fit it tomorrow. Sorry to leave the flock to fend for themselves. BTW, Jerry and  I had an excellent ride in the Cuyamacas on Friday, including a stretch of the PCT!
