I can get away for a Thursday afternoon ride, but it will be hot and humid everywhere.
How about a little tour of San Clemente/Rose Canyons? We could grab a bite at Lorna's or somewhere of your choosing afterwards. We could meet at Sprecklesl Elementary School parking lot on the SE corner of Governor Drive and Stadium Street. If you can't find that, you can park at my house.
If the group would rather ride Penasquitos/Del Mar Mesa, that's OK with me.
Let me know if you plan to join us.

I have no preference...maybe we should go for a swim?

Went for a long ride on Sunday(a long FAST ride when I accidentally met Brad!) over Del Mar Mesa/PQ newly opened trails. Tunnel 4 (the one we usually ride up is open plus a number of ridge and north valley trails. More to open when Coastal Commission (??) and private owners agree. Should include switchback trail. Most riders used Rocking Horse to eliminate Up/Down collisions on 4. Trails are in excellent condition with so little recent use; branches are low.By using Shaw Valley trail (not sure if it currently allows MTBers) a big loop can be made to Carmel Valley Preserve, Eucalyptus Trail and back to PQ by riding down the hill nobody likes to ride up.
No preference, will probably not make it on Thursday.
Too bad Peter can't show us
Too bad Peter can't show us the newest PQ etc loops !
I'm good with either San Clemente or PQ
OK, maybe we should ride
