I've been Plover'd. Well not exactly a plover (a seabird), but attacked on my bike by a tiny bird who hit me on the neck and drew blood. On the return journey the same bird got me in the same place !

The cane toad is poisonous. Some people have died when they have licked the backs of the toads to ingest the hallucinogenic toxins that they exude!
