I'm pretty much OK with whatever, although I have toast for legs given today's road ride.

Meet at the Sycamore Canyon parking lot.
We'll ride the road over to Spring/Oak.
We can then do some of the Spring/Oak trails and proceed over to the top of the Beast and then take that ridge down into Sycamore Canyon.
Once in Sycamore Canyon, we can decide if we want to do the switchbacks, or just proceed over to the eastern trails.
When we've had enough, we take the usual Sycamore trail back to the parking lot.
This will give us lots of flexibility on what actual route we take.

Is all of that area open? I hoid (it thru the grapevine) that a number of trails in the Mission Trails area have been closed.... But then, what the heck do I know?

Knowing that the RM pre-road
Knowing that the RM pre-road our ride as normal and stuck gold dust on the trail so we don't lose our way, I am confident the area is open and thus I will be there. Glad we decided not to ride Clairemont Mesa Blvd- too many lights and stupid drivers....
