Julie and I talked about going to the mountains this weekend for a little longer training ride than we can do locally. However, the forecast for the Lagunas varies from 54 to 66 and there is a high wind warning.
So, do you want to play it safe and ride closer to the coast? Alan, Jerry, and Jeff are all unavailable, so it will be 4 of us at most. We could do all that Spring/Oak has to offer, or Sycamore, or ?.
Let me know what you think.

What about Daley Ranch? We don't go there much and there may be other trails we haven't yet explored.

You do know that Daley is all UP, right? There is no DOWN there. That being said, I'll go where the group goes. I have only ridden the new stuff at Oak/Spring once (the very first time that Jeff showed us) while I know the rest of you have now done it a bunch of times...

So we have three different suggestions. How about we do Spring Oak the hard way?
Start with the Beast.
Go up at the Rusty Barrels.
Down one of the three choices to Oak Canyon.
Up Deer Dancer (backwards).
Should be close to 15 miles with a good bit of climbing. Start at the usual spot at 8:00am.
Leaving for dinner an a movie soon, so please respond asap if you have a problem with this.
PS. The ranger doesn't like us drinking beer at Daley Ranch, and that's my favorite part of the ride!
