I'm posting this very early because I want everyone have a chance to think about it. It's going to be in the 90s in all the inland valley and mountain areas. Penasquitos is partially closed to to flooding damage. The San Clemente/Rose Canyon rides might be OK temperature wise, but there is probably some residual mud/standing water. And the ride is pretty short. So my thinking at this time is to recommend we ride out in Santee on Sunday, starting at 8:00. It's going to be hot out there, but it's not a long drive so starting early is pretty easy. And we should finish by 10:30 and it will just be breaking 80 at that point. This seems to be the lesser of the evils for this Sunday ride, but anyone who has another idea should post it for the group's consideration. So let's hear from those who plan to ride!
