I'm a maybe on Monday as I have to be in Palm Desert late in the PM and perhaps earlier if DIane goes with me... I'm reluctant to repeat Sycamore as my knee is back to a point where I can do most everything but run and my usual chicken leg which I'll probably need to do on the backside of the new switchback hill where I screwed it up in the first place...,

I can be talked into it...I discovered that racing up a very hot Scripps Poway Parkway chasing some pretty fast climbers is not the best way to recover from a Saturday Hammerfest. I figure I came in at least 4th in the 55+ group...and that's because there were only about 4 of us. If there were more I would be lower than 4th. At least I wasn't last. There was at least 1 person behind me. I was happy to know that. It was a 5 mile uphill sprint...I'm going to have to get faster on the start. However, I'm starting to feel like a human being again and could be talked into a ride on Monday.
