SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 22 MOUNTAIN BIKE RIDE
Seeking input for Sunday ride. I'm afraid the mountains will be too muddy from all the snow melt and runoff. Don't know how other local areas may be after the rains. Please provide suggestions and/or information on riding conditions. RM
Yo Yo Ridemaster and esteemed clan of hearty riders. I got my ass kicked today by "trying" (heavy emphasis on the trying) to ride with the "B's". I learned how far down I have gone and how far I have to go to get back where I was! I'm going to stay home with CT tomorrow as Maureen is in Palm Springs helping our economy.
I have no input on this but am open to whatever. If you think it will be too muddy for the trails I can always try something on the road. Steve Fox is organizing a road ride up Highland Valley road to catch the Tour of California. Anyone interested in trying that? I'd prefer to ride with the group so let me know what you're planning as soon as you can.
Spoke to Jerry and we're going to do Anderston Truck Trail plus the World Cup Trails up above ATT. They are really developed with downhillers and freeriders in mind, but most of the jumps and drops have a ride around for sissies like me. T his probably adds another 4-5 miles onto the ATT 10 or so miles. See you at 8:00 if you decide to join us. RM
This is my rounding weekend so can't make a morning ride. I did ride Mission Trails this afternoon and it is in pretty good shape on the trails but unfortunately the water project is changing a lot of things. No access from Clairmont Mesa anymore and many of the fireroads are graded and graveled for the big trucks. ugh The usual ruts and rubble after the rains too...
Anderson should be in great shape. Have a great ride !
I rode Daley Ranch today and covered most of the trails. The conditions were perfect! ATT+ is a good option for tomorrow, but I don't know if I'll be able to ride again in the AM. As usual, don't wait for me...

I'd be willing to ride
I'd be willing to ride Anderson Truck Trail + World Cup again, or I'd be willing to try Sycamore Canyon. I'll bet it's rideable.
8:00am start? Now all we need is agreement on the trail! RM
