I'm torn between a ride on Thursday night and supporting the cause at the Los Penasquitos Canyon meeting which will begin at 6:00pm.   In my limited experience, these meetings are usually oversold and it may be better to support the SDMBA with letters to the proper authorities later in the process.

   So, which activity will find the biggest turnout from our group?    (I think I can smell pizza somewhere)     RM

Any takers for a ride this Thursday evening? I'll be in Encinitas until around 3:30, so leaving from the Sorrento Valley Post Office parking lot would be ideal.  However, I could be in Santee by 4:45 or so.

I'm supposed to go to our new Rancho Bernardo Clinic grand opening on Thursday night, so I can't ride.

  I hope some of you can get a ride in. Not too many Thursday nights left before it will be too dark to ride--at least without lights!

Tomorrow is my daughter Somer's Birthday, so I'd like to be home by 11:00 or so. Any ideas for a ride where we can finish early, or where I can bail out before the rest of you?   And a 7:30 start to beat the heat?              RM

I believe the mountains will be hot on Sunday, so how about Sycamore Canyon?  Julie is working and Edwin will be celebrating Lisa's birthday, so our crowd won't be too large. We could even start at 7:30 since there's not much driving involved.
